Texans not closing door on intriguing RB amid David Montgomery injury

The Houston Texans are dealing with an injury to running back David Montgomery during the 2026 NFL season, and the team has not ruled out bringing in another running back to address the issue. Houston currently ranks 29th in the NFL in rushing, averaging just 84.7 yards per game and 3.6 yards per carry. The struggles in the ground game have been limiting the offense and threatening the team's playoff chances.
