Thames Valley tighten grip on National Athletics League Premiership
Round two of the National Athletics League Premiership took place on July 11 at Woodford Green, with Thames Valley Harriers extending their lead over defending champions Harrow in the title race. Despite Harrow showing resilience early on, including wins from Sofia Vidak (2:10.04) and Susannah LeCoutre (2:11.77) in the women's 800m and a Hayden Christian effort in the 400m hurdles, Thames Valley ultimately asserted their dominance. Conditions were challenging across all venues, with temperatures reaching 28-30°C, particularly affecting distance runners and leading to low participation in steeplechase events.
