The Breakdown | From France to Old Reigatians: the most inspiring sides in rugby history

The Guardian's rugby column 'The Breakdown' explores some of the most inspiring sides in rugby history, ranging from international teams like France to amateur clubs such as Old Reigatians. The feature argues that the most memorable teams are not always the most famous, and that the key ingredients of an inspiring side have remained consistent over many years. A historical photo of the Sherborne School 1st XV from 1977 is among the examples referenced in the piece.
