The Breakdown | Meg Jones leads the call to provide fertility support for rugby players
England Red Roses captain Meg Jones has called for rugby to follow football in providing fertility support for players, after the Spanish football federation and Chelsea both announced funding for egg freezing and fertility treatments. Speaking on a podcast, Jones revealed she and her fiancée, former Trailfinders and sevens player Celia Quansah, have had their egg counts checked, urging the Red Roses to 'jump on' similar initiatives. Her comments prompted England teammate Hannah Botterman to share that she and her partner, Wales player Georgia Evans, had also been researching their IVF journey.
