The NBA handed down severe penalties to the LA Clippers on Wednesday following a yearlong investigation, culminating in a 35-page report from law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. The league found four separate violations of the collective bargaining agreement for cap circumvention involving payments to star forward Kawhi Leonard between 2020 and 2022, resulting in the loss of five first-round picks, a $30 million fine, one-year suspensions for owner Steve Ballmer and president Gillian Zucker, and a six-month suspension for basketball operations president Lawrence Frank.
