The Draft Top 250 is out! For the 1st time all year, there's a new No. 1

MLB Pipeline has released its updated Draft Top 250 Prospects list dated July 3, 2026, marking the first time all year that UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky has been displaced from the No. 1 spot. Fort Worth Christian High School shortstop Grady Emerson now tops the rankings, with a majority of teams viewing him as having more upside than any other prospect. The 2026 MLB Draft is scheduled for July 11-12, with the first pick set to be announced live on NBC/Peacock.
