The largest prize purse in women’s golf history has just been announced

The KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Hazeltine will feature a record $13 million prize purse, the largest in women's golf history, up from $12 million in 2023 and $3.5 million in 2017. World number one Nelly Korda enters as the favorite after winning her last two consecutive majors — the Chevron Championship ($1.5 million from a $9 million purse) and the US Women's Open ($2.5 million from a $12.5 million purse). A win would give Korda three consecutive majors and keep alive her pursuit of a calendar Grand Slam.
