The Los Angeles Angels are being sold for a record $4 billion. Here's what every MLB team is now worth
Stan Kroenke has agreed to purchase the Los Angeles Angels from the Moreno family in a deal valuing the team and its regional sports network, Angels Broadcast Television, at a record $4 billion β equivalent to 10 times the team's 2025 revenue. This surpasses the previous MLB record set by the $3.9 billion sale of the San Diego Padres, approved last month, which carried a multiple of eight times revenue. Following the deal, CNBC has updated its MLB valuations, placing the average MLB team worth at $4.04 billion, with the New York Yankees topping the list at $12 billion and the Miami Marlins remaining the least valuable at $2.2 billion.
