The Miz caps a likely Cy Young season with poise in Brewers' World Series clincher

Jacob Misiorowski, nicknamed 'The Miz,' delivered a dominant performance on October 29, 2026, pitching two-hit ball over 5 2/3 scoreless innings to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to their first-ever World Series title against the Tampa Bay Rays. Despite tying his career low with just two strikeouts, the hard-throwing right-hander left with a four-run lead before exiting due to a leg cramp. The outing capped what is considered a likely Cy Young Award-winning season for Misiorowski.
