The only British man other than Andy Murray who has reached the US Open final in the Open Era

Greg Rusedski is the only British man other than Andy Murray to have reached the US Open final in the Open Era, losing to Pat Rafter in 1997. Andy Murray won the US Open in 2012, defeating Novak Djokovic in the final for his first Grand Slam title. Prior to the Open Era, Fred Perry won the US Open three times, with his last title coming in 1936.
