The Tour de France doesn't want Pogačar to win the green jersey

ASO, the organizer of the Tour de France, has made rule changes to the points classification to prevent riders like Tadej Pogačar from contending for the green jersey without contesting bunch sprints. Last year, Pogačar nearly challenged Jonathan Milan for the green jersey while winning the overall race, the climber's jersey, and avoiding sprints entirely. One of two announced changes to the points system has since been quietly removed from the official roadbook, while a replacement concession has been introduced.
