The unique F1 record that Kimi Antonelli broke with his Miami GP win

Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli has set a unique F1 record by achieving his first three pole positions and first three grand prix victories consecutively, a combination never accomplished before in Formula 1 history. The young Italian secured pole position and victory at the Chinese Grand Prix, Japan, and most recently the Miami Grand Prix in the 2026 season. In doing so, he surpassed records previously held by legends Michael Schumacher and Mika Häkkinen.
