"Things like this shouldn't happen" Tom Pidcock mad after police moto hits teammates during race

Tom Pidcock expressed anger after a police officer on a motorcycle traveling the wrong way on the course struck two of his Pinarello Q36.5 teammates during the Tre Valli Varesine race on Thursday. Marcel Camprubi and Tom Gloag were both hit, with Camprubi's front fork shattered and Gloag requiring stitches in his knee, though both ultimately escaped without serious injury. Pidcock, who lost the sprint for the win, said he almost stopped racing himself after the incident, and referenced the recent death of cyclist Finlay Tarling under similar circumstances.
