The weather phenomenon, known as 'haar,' is a cold, wet sea fog that rolls in from the North Sea onto Scotland's eastern coast. At the time of suspension, only 17 players were on the course, with Rory McIlroy sharing the overnight co-lead at 9-under alongside Jordan Smith and Tom Kim.
