Thomas named 25th captain in Blues history | St. Louis Blues

Robert Thomas, 27, has been named the 25th captain in St. Louis Blues history, becoming the fifth original Blues draft pick to hold the captaincy after being selected 20th overall in the 2017 NHL Draft. Colton Parayko, Philip Broberg, Jake Neighbours, and Dylan Holloway will serve as assistant captains for the 2026-27 season, which opens October 2 in Dallas. The announcement was made at a press conference on September 3 at Enterprise Center, also featuring General Manager Alexander Steen and Head Coach Jim Montgomery.
