Thorslund becomes undisputed with shutout win over Johnson

Dina Thorslund (25-0) became the undisputed women's bantamweight champion on Saturday night in Orlando, Florida, defeating Cherneka Johnson by unanimous decision, winning every round to claim the WBC, WBO, WBA, and IBF titles at MVPW-5. The victory came more than a year after Thorslund vacated her WBC and WBO titles due to pregnancy, and following a personal journey that included a miscarriage she announced in mid-2025. In the co-main event, Canadian Tammi Thibeault captured the IBF and WBO middleweight titles from Desley Robinson in just her fifth professional fight.
