Ticket applications open as 500-day countdown begins to Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027

With 500 days to go until Men's Rugby World Cup 2027 in Australia, the ticket Application Phase opened today at 15:00 AEST and will close at 18:00 AEST on Tuesday, 2 June 2026. More than 750,000 tickets were already sold during the Presale to fans from 135 countries, with prices starting from $40 AUD for adults and $20 AUD for children across all 52 matches. To mark the milestone, Rugby World Cup winner Brad Thorn, former Australian captain James Horwill, and current Wallaby Tom Lynagh joined hundreds of Brisbane school students for a large-scale aerial 'RWC27' photo alongside the Webb Ellis Cup.
