Youri Tielemans has revealed that Manchester United attempted to sign him on two previous occasions before he finally joined the club this summer. The 28-year-old Belgian midfielder moved to Old Trafford from Aston Villa after United triggered a £35 million release clause in his contract. Tielemans confirmed he had direct conversations with the club on both previous occasions, but the deals never materialised.
