Tim Curry, Outlandish Star of ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show,’ Dies at 80

Tim Curry, the British actor best known for playing Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Pennywise the Clown in Stephen King's It, died on Wednesday at his Toluca Lake home in Los Angeles at the age of 80. His death was announced by his longtime manager Marcia Hurwitz. Curry, a three-time Tony nominee who had suffered a major stroke in 2012, was also widely recognized as a prolific voice actor throughout his career.
