Tim Wellens pulls away on last stage to win Tour of Britain

Belgian cyclist Tim Wellens won the men's Tour of Britain, representing UAE Emirates XRG alongside Tadej Pogacar. Wellens, who had seized the overall race lead on the fourth stage in North Yorkshire, extended his advantage from 21 seconds to 42 seconds over British rider Lewis Askey by the final stage finish in Earlston. Ben Wiggins, the 21-year-old son of Sir Bradley Wiggins, finished 10th overall.
