Timberwolves acquire 6-foot-9 ex-Celtics forward in blockbuster three-team Julius Randle trade

The Minnesota Timberwolves finalized a blockbuster three-team trade on Monday, sending Julius Randle and the No. 28 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft to the Brooklyn Nets, while receiving Mo Gueye, a 6-foot-9 former Celtics and Mavericks forward, from the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls received Nic Claxton and cap space as part of the deal. Gueye, 27, has a non-guaranteed salary for the 2026-27 season.
