Behdad Eghbali and his Clearlake Capital group have completed a deal worth approximately £1 billion to purchase the minority stakes held by Todd Boehly and Mark Walter in Chelsea Football Club. The transaction gives Clearlake Capital full control of the Premier League club. Boehly, who had been a prominent figure at Chelsea since the consortium's takeover in 2022, has now exited his ownership role.
