Tom Pidcock 'mad' after team-mates hit by vehicle during Tre Valli Varesine

Tom Pidcock expressed anger after two of his Pinarello-Q36.5 team-mates, Marcel Camprubi and Thomas Gloag, were struck by a police vehicle travelling the wrong way on the course during the Tre Valli Varesine race in Varese, Italy. The incident occurred with six laps of the finishing circuit remaining, though Spain's Camprubi was able to continue racing. Pidcock, who said he wanted to 'stop racing' following the collision, ultimately finished second in the one-day race behind Belgium's Jarno Widar.
