Tom Pidcock on battling Pogačar and the the tour de France
Tom Pidcock finished second behind Tadej Pogačar at Milan-San Remo, where he was the only rider able to follow the Slovenian's attack on the Poggio despite Pogačar having crashed and sustained injuries before the Cipressa. Pidcock later suffered a heavy crash at the Tour of Catalonia but is now regaining form ahead of his fourth Tour de France appearance. In an interview with The Guardian, Pidcock expressed admiration for Pogačar's determination while acknowledging growing fatigue among fans over the world champion's continued dominance.
