Tom Pidcock OUT of Tour de Suisse - Illness forces British rider to rethink Tour de France build-up
Tom Pidcock has withdrawn from the 2026 Tour de Suisse due to a mild viral infection that forced him to take several days off training, requiring him to rethink his Tour de France build-up. The Pinarello - Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team leader had been expected to face rival Tadej Pogacar at the race starting Wednesday. Pidcock may instead return to competition at the Andorra MoraBanc Clàssica on June 21st, depending on his recovery, ahead of the Tour de France Grand Depart on July 4th.
