Tom Pidcock is set to race the GP Montréal on September 13, 2026, which has been redesigned to mirror the upcoming UCI Road Cycling World Championships course. The World Championships road race on September 27 will cover 273.7 kilometres with 3,803 metres of elevation gain across 12 laps of a 13.4-kilometre circuit around Mount Royal, featuring three key climbs per lap. Pidcock, who has already secured two wins in different disciplines in his recent preparation, will use the GP Montréal as a full dress rehearsal two weeks before the title race, elevating him to 4th favourite for the Worlds.
