Tom Pidcock wins Nové Město, sends message to Van Der Poel

Tom Pidcock won the mountain bike race at Nové Město na Moravě, Czech Republic, on Sunday 25 May 2026, claiming his fifth victory in five appearances at the iconic venue. The British rider attacked as early as the second lap and managed his lead effectively, with French champion Luca Martin the only rider able to challenge him. Pidcock described it as the hardest of his five wins there, and drew conclusions from the performance that he noted also concern rival Mathieu van der Poel.
