Tom Pidcock won the XCO World Cup cross-country mountain bike race in Nové Město, Czech Republic, matching Nino Schurter's all-time record of victories in the discipline. The British rider returned to mountain biking after several months away and faced a strong challenge from Luca Martin throughout the race, who pushed Pidcock to his limit in a fast and aggressive contest. Mathis Azzaro, who had won Saturday's Short Track event, was also prominent early before fading, while Charlie Aldridge dropped back due to mechanical issues with his handlebars.
