Tony Romo arrested for OWI 1st

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was arrested in Milwaukee on Thursday night, July 23, for operating while intoxicated (OWI), first offense. He was stopped by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office on southbound I-43 on the high-rise bridge and taken into custody after performing poorly on standardized field sobriety tests. Romo, who had been in the area for the Wisconsin Amateur Championship golf tournament where he tied for 73rd, was booked and released and is due in court on September 21.
