Toone replaces injured Bronze in England squad

England defender Lucy Bronze has been ruled out of the Women's World Cup playoff matches against Greece due to a minor injury sustained in Chelsea's WSL win at West Ham, and has returned to her club to manage the issue. Manchester United attacking midfielder Ella Toone has been called up as her replacement, despite having been notably omitted from Sarina Wiegman's original squad. England face Greece in a two-legged playoff, with the first leg in Heraklion, Crete, and the return leg in Leicester on Tuesday.
