Top jockey James Bowen taken to hospital with suspected arm injury after fall at Bangor

Jockey James Bowen was taken to hospital with a suspected arm injury following a fall at Bangor racecourse. The incident occurred during a novices' handicap chase when Laughing John, trained by Nicky Henderson, fell at the last fence while Bowen was leading the race. Bowen was subsequently transported to hospital for treatment.
