Torrey Pines to stay on PGA Tour schedule, become Championship stop in 2028

Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego will remain on the PGA Tour schedule, with the Sentry tournament set to be held there from January 27-30, 2027, after transitioning from its former home at Kapalua. Beginning in 2028, the event will become part of the PGA Tour's new Championship Series, joining tournaments such as the Travelers Championship and Sompo on the updated schedule.
