Toto Wolff puts Mercedes on alert with Lewis Hamilton F1 title contender prediction

Lewis Hamilton won the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, becoming the first non-Mercedes driver to win a Formula 1 race in 2025 and ending a near two-year win drought for himself and Ferrari. Mercedes' George Russell finished second, while Andrea Kimi Antonelli retired late in the race after having passed Russell, narrowing Antonelli's championship lead. Mercedes boss Toto Wolff congratulated Hamilton but warned his team that Hamilton is now a genuine title contender and that Mercedes must take every available opportunity this season.
