Tottenham signs Mateus Fernandes for reported club-record $113M from relegated West Ham

Tottenham has signed Portuguese midfielder Mateus Fernandes from relegated West Ham for a reported club-record fee of 85 million pounds ($113 million) on Thursday, July 2, 2026. The 21-year-old was part of the West Ham side that was relegated on the final day of last season, partly due to a last-day win by Tottenham themselves.
