Toue de France 2026: Tom Pidcock up to fourth as Mauro Schmid wins stage 13

Switzerland's Mauro Schmid of Jayco-Alula won stage 13 of the 2026 Tour de France, a 205.8km run from Dole to Belfort, edging Colombia's Harold Tejada on the line after the pair pulled away from a larger breakaway group on a descent with around 16km remaining. Britain's Tom Pidcock, riding for Pinarello-Q36.5, finished third on the stage and gained six places in the general classification to move up to fourth overall. Pidcock and several other riders finished more than seven minutes ahead of the peloton on the demanding stage.
