Tour de France 2026: Fans urged not to attend end of third stage because of wildfires

Tour de France organisers have urged fans and non-essential personnel to stay away from the final 40km of the third stage on Monday due to wildfires in the south of France. The 195.9km stage begins in Granollers, Spain, and finishes near Les Angles, within 60 kilometres of some of the worst-affected fire areas. The route itself is not expected to change, but attendance at the stage finish has been strongly discouraged as a precaution.
