Tour de France 2026: Mads Pedersen wins stage as Tadej Pogacar loses yellow jersey

Mads Pedersen of Lidl-Trek sprinted to victory on the 181.9km fourth stage of the 2026 Tour de France, with temperatures reaching 40C in southern France. Defending champion Tadej Pogacar lost the yellow jersey and dropped to fourth overall. Uno-X Mobility rider Torstein Traeen became the new race leader after finishing eighth in the stage, almost 13 minutes ahead of the peloton.
