Tour de France 2026: Mexican debutant Del Toro wins stage two with help of Pogacar

Mexican cyclist Isaac Del Toro, 22, won stage two of the 2026 Tour de France in Barcelona, with the victory orchestrated by teammate Tadej Pogacar of UAE Team Emirates-XRG, who allowed Del Toro to take the win on his Tour debut. Jonas Vingegaard retained the yellow jersey with a six-second lead after his Visma-Lease a Bike team had won the opening stage team time trial the previous day. Stage three faced disruptions due to fires, with no spectators permitted and an adapted route announced.
