Tour de France 2026: Tim Merlier powers to stage seven win, Tadej Pogacar keeps yellow jersey

Tim Merlier won stage seven of the Tour de France 2026 in a bunch sprint finish on the 175.1km flat route from Hagetmau to Bordeaux, giving the Belgian his fourth career Tour de France stage victory. Norway's Soren Waerenskjold finished second and Eritrea's Biniam Girmay third, while Merlier outpaced compatriot Jasper Philipsen in the final 100 metres. Overall race leader Tadej Pogacar retained the yellow jersey.
