Tour de France debutant Del Toro wins stage two

Isaac del Toro, a 22-year-old Mexican debutant, won stage two of the Tour de France, becoming only the second rider from Mexico to claim a Tour de France stage victory. He edged out UAE Team Emirates-XRG teammate Tadej Pogacar on the steep climb to the finish at Montjuic, Spain, with Remco Evenepoel finishing third. Jonas Vingegaard finished fourth but retained the overall leader's yellow jersey after the hilly 168.5km stage.
