Tour de France debutant Del Toro wins stage two

Isaac del Toro, a 22-year-old Mexican debutant, won stage two of the Tour de France by accelerating on the steep climb to the finish at Montjuic, Spain, crossing the line just ahead of UAE Team Emirates-XRG teammate Tadej Pogacar. Remco Evenepoel finished third, with Jonas Vingegaard fourth but retaining the overall leader's yellow jersey. Del Toro became only the second rider from Mexico to win a Tour de France stage.
