The Tour de France has triggered the Extreme Weather Protocol red zone ahead of stage 6, with temperatures forecast to reach up to 35°C alongside a risk of thunderstorms. Despite the severe weather warning, race organizers have confirmed the stage will proceed as planned. Stage 6 is set to cross the iconic Col du Tourmalet, one of the race's most challenging mountain climbs.
