Tour de France Femmes 2026: Powerful Demi Vollering wins stage five

Demi Vollering of FDJ United-Suez won stage five of the Tour de France Femmes 2026, sprinting to victory over yellow jersey holder Marlen Reusser of Movistar. The pair, along with Poland's Kasia Niewiadoma of Canyon-Sram, pulled away from the field during the demanding 140km stage from Macon to Belleville-en-Beaujolais, near Lyon. Reusser retained the yellow jersey despite finishing second to Vollering, who previously won the Tour de France Femmes in 2023.
