Tour de France results: Soren Waerenskjold makes long-range sprint to win fastest-ever stage
Norwegian cyclist Soren Waerenskjold, 26, won Stage 11 of the Tour de France with a long-range sprint, claiming his first-ever Tour stage victory and only the second for his team, Uno-X Mobility. The stage was completed at an average speed of 50.9 km/h, making it the fastest stage in Tour de France history. Overall race leader Tadej Pogacar retains his lead, sitting 3 minutes and 36 seconds ahead of Jonas Vingegaard in the general classification.
