Tour de France results: Soren Waerenskjold makes long-range sprint to win fastest-ever stage
Norwegian cyclist Soren Waerenskjold, 26, won stage 11 of the Tour de France with a surprise long-range sprint, claiming his first-ever Tour stage victory and only the second for his team, Uno-X Mobility. The stage was completed at the fastest average speed in Tour de France history. Overall leader Tadej Pogacar retained his lead, sitting three minutes and 36 seconds ahead of Jonas Vingegaard in the general classification.
