Tour de France stays behind paywall in UK until at least 2033, despite British Grand Départ

TNT Sports and Eurosport have extended their broadcast deal with the European Broadcast Union to retain exclusive rights to the Tour de France and other ASO races in the UK until at least 2032-2033. The deal covers major cycling events including both editions of the Tour de France, La Vuelta España, Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, and Paris-Nice. This means the Tour de France will remain behind a paywall in the UK, ending the free-to-air coverage that ITV had provided since 2001.
