Tour de France to pass through Saddleworth

The 2027 Tour de France Femmes will pass through Saddleworth, England, with the first stage scheduled for July 30, 2027. The route enters via the A635 into Greenfield before tackling the Grains Bar climb — a 2.1 kilometre ascent at 6.3 per cent gradient, officially renamed the 'Cote de Delph' — then continues through Shaw, Crompton, and Royton to Manchester city centre, having started in Leeds. British cyclist Cat Ferguson expressed excitement about the event, recalling watching the men's Tour de France on the same roads as a child in 2014.
