Tour de Romandie stage 2 Preview | A 'mini-Liège' tailor-made for Pogačar
Stage 2 of the 2026 Tour de Romandie, held on Thursday April 30, covers 173.1 kilometres between Rue and Vucherens, featuring over 2,700 metres of total elevation gain. The only classified climb, the Vuillens (3.1 km at 5.4%), is tackled three times, with the final ascent just 2.2 kilometres from the finish. Tadej Pogačar is the favourite, though his team was less dominant than expected in stage one, leaving opportunities for rivals among the climbers and punchers.
