Tour Down Under: UCI World Tour to feature first joint men's and women's event

Australia's Tour Down Under will become the first UCI World Tour race to host men's and women's stages on the same course, day, and distance starting in 2027. The 2027 edition will feature a six-stage men's race beginning January 19 and a three-stage women's event opening January 22. The Adelaide-area race, which became the first event to offer equal prize money for both sexes in 2018, previously held its women's race separately before the men's event.
