Tour of Britain Women: Lorena Wiebes sprints to victory on opening stage

Dutch rider Lorena Wiebes, 27, won the opening stage of the Tour of Britain Women, sprinting to victory on a 158.9km circuit starting and finishing in Cockermouth, Cumbria. The Team SD Worx-Protime rider narrowly edged her rivals in a sprint finish. Italy's Chiara Consonni finished second, with Great Britain's Josie Nelson taking third place.
